• The input shaft in this kit is 1’’ diameter and sizes down to ¾’’ inside the gearbox.

• Not compatible with replacement gearbox 106517

• Consider also 106827 Gearbox Kit, for upgrade replacement of 105424

INSTRUCTION CONTENT:

• Replacing gear box 105424:
• 1) Refer to snowblower owner’s manual for instructions to replace the gear box.
• 2) Use the new shear plate (item 1) supplied with the new gear box (item 2).
• 3) Insert the 1/4’’ x 1/4’’ 1’’ key (item 3) between the shear plate and the gear box.
• NOTE: If ever the new gear box needs to be replaced, it will not be necessary to replace the shear plate #106257 if it is still in good condition. However, it is strongly suggested to replace the key #102017 even if it is not damaged.
• IMPORTANT: Please change the part number for the shear plate in your manual.
